"Would you like to try on Men's sizes?"
These words were said to me at my local Target on December 7th because THERE WERE NO MORE WHITE DRESS SHIRTS. In case you don't know, I am a choir nerd, and our uniforms require white shirts. I accidentally gave mine away, so I went to Target hoping to find one. I asked around and the woman led me to TWO SMALLS. Me and my body are NOT fitting into a SMALL/. So, she asked me if I wanted to try men's.
Now I understand why some men hate suits.
First off, the shirts were folded nicely with the packaging and clips, so there was my first struggle. Second off, THAT FABRIC IS SO STIFF. It hurt my fingers just BUTTONING A SHIRT. By the time I tried on shirt number three, I had to ask my mom to button me up because MY FINGERS WERE RAW. The biggest puzzle of the experience was putting them back together. THERE WERE AT LEAST SEVEN DIFFERENT THINGS HOLDING THE SHIRT TOGETHER. It was like that game where if you clicked on a mine everything blew up. One wrong move and everything goes to crap.
Now the real question is HOW ARE THERE NO DRESS SHIRTS. HOW?!
